They are the Newspaper test to test the sharpness of the blade, Tomato test to check its ability when it comes to slicing soft foods and the Carrot test to see its ability when it comes to chopping hard foods. This blade has dimples on its edge and is named as “Granton” edge. It provides a distinct advantage in food release. This knife is very tough and strong due to the metals used to craft it.
